Who we are
Planet 3DP (planet3dp.com) is the website of the Planet 3DP YouTube channel, run by Nick. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Email sign-ups. When you join the newsletter or request a free guide, we store your name and email address so we can send what you asked for. Emails are sent through our email provider (Brevo).
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to see which pages are read. It uses cookies and collects your approximate location, device and the pages you visit.
- Advertising pixels. Some pages use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure visits from our ads.
- Affiliate links. When you click a link to Amazon or a manufacturer store, that store or its affiliate network (Amazon Associates, Awin or Impact) may set a cookie so a purchase can be credited to Planet 3DP. See our affiliate disclosure.
- Embedded videos. YouTube videos on this site are served by YouTube, which may set its own cookies when they play.
- Security. Our firewall (Wordfence) and network provider (Cloudflare) process IP addresses to block attacks and spam.
- Comments. If you leave a comment, we store your name, email and comment, and check it for spam with Akismet.
How we use it
To send the emails and guides you request, to understand what content is useful, to keep the site secure, and to earn affiliate commissions that pay for the channel. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We reply within 30 days.
How long we keep it
Email subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics, then deleted automatically.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
