Bambu Lab has launched the H3C, a tool changer 3D printer with nine PrintTools. It comes with the AMS 3H, a nine slot filament unit. It went on sale on 3 November 2026 at 2,499 dollars for the H3C Combo. Bambu Lab’s US store lists it in stock, shipping within 1 to 3 business days. There’s no launch discount. The H3C isn’t part of Bambu’s Black Friday sale. Our Bambu Lab H3C listing has the specs, bundles and price in one place.

What Bambu Lab is claiming

The headline is the tool changer itself, which Bambu calls Swaptek. Nine PrintTools sit in a rack. Each has its own filament path and heater, so every material stays loaded and preheated. Bambu puts a tool change at 3.4 seconds. A material switch takes as little as 6 seconds. Its footnote says that figure comes from an internal test with PLA Basic in the filament saving purge mode. Purge per switch is quoted as low as 0.038 g, again under optimal conditions.

The second claim is soft TPU. The FlexFeed extruder takes 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm filament. Bambu says 2.85 mm TPU as soft as 75A prints at up to three times the flow rate of its previous generation machine. The 2.85 mm PrintTool ships fitted in slot 8, which is the dryer slot. Bambu’s FAQ says the only 2.85 mm filament sold today is its own TPU 75A.

Then there’s the rest of the rack. Bambu says you can mix nozzle sizes in one print, from 0.2 to 0.8 mm. The extra hotends are sold separately. Colour mixing from five filaments needs its CMYKW PLA Palette. Optional CraftTools for cutting, drawing, debossing and foil transfer mount in the same slots. Those are sold separately too.

Existing AMS units connect through PrintTool number one. Bambu says that takes the H3C to 24 spools. The toolhead and X axis are 40 percent lighter than the H2D’s, by Bambu’s figure. Acceleration is up to 25,000 mm per second squared. Travel speed is up to 1,400 mm/s. Planet 3DP hasn’t tested any of it.

The four bundles and what’s in the box

From the H3C page on Bambu Lab’s US store, read November 3, 2026. All four were listed in stock.
BundlePriceWhat Bambu lists in the box
H3C Combo2,499 dollarsThe printer and the AMS 3H. Eight 0.4 mm PrintTools for 1.75 mm filament. One 0.4 mm PrintTool for 2.85 mm filament. A textured PEI plate, the cables and an accessories box.
H3C Combo with Filament Starter Pack (TPU+CMYKW)2,589 dollarsThe Combo. TPU 75A in black. The PLA Palette CMYKW set.
H3C Combo with Filament Starter Pack (Colourful TPU+CMYKW)2,589 dollarsThe Combo. TPU 75A in cyan. The PLA Palette CMYKW set.
H3C Full Combo, Bambu Station L FRAME Edition2,799 dollarsThe Combo. TPU 75A in black. The PLA Palette CMYKW set. The Bambu Station L FRAME Edition stand.

Every bundle ships with nine PrintTools. The tool count doesn’t change with the price. Bambu’s FAQ says the Combo already has everything needed for printing. Nine colour printing in 1.75 mm filament with near zero purge needs one extra 1.75 mm PrintTool.

Price, shipping and the Black Friday sale

The H3C Combo is 2,499 dollars on Bambu Lab’s US store, checked November 3, 2026. No typical price is shown beside it. There’s no launch discount. Bambu says orders ship from its US warehouse within 1 to 3 business days once processed. The store’s standard terms apply. That means free shipping in the 48 contiguous states, 30 day price protection, 30 day returns and a 2 year warranty.

Bambu’s Black Friday sale runs from 27 October at 8:00 AM Eastern to 1 December at 2:00 AM Eastern. The H3C isn’t on it. The sale page lists the H2C Combo at 1,899 dollars against a typical 2,199. So the H3C Combo costs 600 dollars more than the H2C Combo does this month.

What the H3C page does offer is accessory pricing when you buy them with the printer. The Crafting and Printing Complete Kit is 219 dollars instead of 264.98. The Multi Size Hotends Kit for the H3C is 205 dollars instead of 244.93. The Build Plates Expansion Kit starts at 49.99 instead of 53.99. The purchase also earns 2,499 Bambu Credits. Bambu’s sale page says 100 credits take 1 dollar off a later eligible order.

Bambu’s FAQ puts the recommended installation space at 593 x 1056 x 1306 mm. That leaves 385 mm clear at the front for the door and 290 mm above for the AMS lid. It says the heatbed runs at full power for 3 to 5 minutes while heating. A low power mode slows the bed and chamber for circuits that can’t supply that.

Does it replace the H2C?

Not according to Bambu Lab. Question 14 on the store page asks whether the H2C will be discontinued once the H3C launches. Bambu’s answer opens with “No.” It says the H2C serves a different kind of user. The H2C pairs multiple filaments with multiple nozzle diameters automatically. Bambu says the two machines are built for different jobs rather than replacing each other.

Nick owns an H2C. His H2C review and H2C maintenance guide cover that machine. The H2C Combo is in Bambu’s Black Friday sale at 1,899 dollars. How the H3C compares in print is a question for a test. There hasn’t been one here yet.

The H3C is the first of the new Bambu names to launch. Bambu’s S1 scanner page still said “November 2026 Coming soon” on November 3, 2026. The P3C and X2D Pro remain FCC filings only. Our new Bambu Lab printers tracker keeps the whole list current.

Not tested by Planet 3DP. Nick hasn’t used the H3C, so nothing on this page is a hands on result. Every figure is Bambu Lab’s own, from its US store and product pages on November 3, 2026.
